The history of artificial nails is as old as wealth, and they have always been representative of it. As time has passed, the concept of pain as beauty has been embedded not just in the concept of having to extend and paint ourselves but in the chemical process it takes to achieve beauty. I took pictures of objects that remind me of types of love according to ancient Greek philosophy. I then used clip-interrogator to create an AI prompt based on that image and used that prompt to create an AI image, which I can later repeat that same process on. Just as love lives on, so will AI's capacity to abstract it.
